“ I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13 KJV).

Is there a scripture that speaks to you? It’s timeless. Regardless of your stage of life or what you are facing, somehow that same scripture remains relevant. I have one of those scriptures.

For me, it is Philippians 4:13, “ I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” I learned and memorized this scripture as a child, and it has remained a constant in my life. This scripture has encouraged me in every stage of my life, from schooling to marriage to motherhood, and I’m certain it will in the stages to come.

As a child, I spoke the scripture whenever I was facing a difficult situation. The scripture was fundamental in the building of my faith! Of course, as I have grown in life and spirituality, scripture has taken on a greater depth, meaning, and understanding in my life.

Like Paul, with age and spiritual growth, I am learning to be content in whatever I face. I am learning that, indeed, my strength comes from Christ. My strength isn’t in what I possess. It is in who I know, Christ! And through him, I can do all things.

Where does your strength come from? Our prayer is that today, you will lean into Christ. Lean into Christ at all times. Lean into Christ when challenges arise. Lean into Christ when you feel weak. Lean into Christ when you are striving to overcome an obstacle. We are confident that you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you.
