Hello! I’m Darla, the founder and visionary of OHSOFREE Ministries. I’ve discovered through Christ the me that God created, not the one changed by this world. My relationship with God is intimate and my calling is clear. Unfortunately, my past was different.

I was 18 when I married. The white picket fence I dreamed about quickly turned into an emotional mess. I spent years dealing with stressful episodes, negative words spewed in anger, slamming doors, and blaming each other for unmet expectations. I made choices that I couldn’t take back. My thoughts were full of hurt, guilt and shame. After 23 years, the marriage ended. When I finally realized I couldn’t fix my problems, I turned to the God - a loving Father and Friend. So, why share my story?

I share my story, not to sit in my shame or rot in my regret, but to offer hope.

Now, I’ve been in my second marriage for 18 years.  I have 6 adult children: 2 Bio, 2 from my second marriage, 2 adopted in 2009 and in 2023 we adopted our Grandchild!
