“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6-7 NIV
It’s hard to explain what a gift Jesus has been to my life. It’s not something I can tangibly express to a skeptic, but hopefully, it is evident in the way I conduct my life as a follower of Christ. While I am still in process, here are a few of the inner changes He has worked in me:
These are a few of the gifts Jesus has brought to my life. Christ is more than a baby that once grew to die on the cross. He is my living Savior who keeps me, intercedes for me, and covers all my shame.
Christmas is a celebration of how Jesus brings freedom and light into the world and is available to all. Day by day, He transforms me from bound to free, broken to whole. For Jesus, I am forever grateful!
Merry Christmas, friends!

- I have known great fear over the reality of death and can now live confidently, knowing Christ is holding me.
- I have struggled with feeling insecure and unloved and have found the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit in my life.
- I have wrestled with understanding my role and purpose in life and am now filled with the peace of walking in the good works He has planned for me.
- I open the Bible and find my thirst quenched in ways I don’t comprehend but can sense in my soul.
- I am a witness to the beauty of His Church, imperfectly loving one another. He has taught me about forgiveness as I have been hurt and healed within the Christian community.
- When I pray, I am assured of His listening ear.

So good Terri! He is all of that and so much more. He is the great I AM-exactly what we need Him to be at exactly the precise moment we need Him.
Terri, what a wonderful message to start December with! Jesus was more, and I love the way you listed all the ways He has touched your life. Thank you for sharing!💜
Wow! We were just talking to one of our son's last night because he is experiencing some of the exact feelings you went through in your bullet points. Oh that Jesus would fill Him with His Holy Spirit as He has you! Thank you for sharing this!
So good, Terri! I appreciate your vulnerability so much! You express yourself beautifully â¤ï¸
Jesus is the greatest gift but we also get the gift of the Holy Spirit when we give Jesus our lives. Thank you for your encouragement, Terri!
