Isn’t it wonderful how God puts people in our path to share the good news of Christ?
One day at the dump, a man pulled behind my son and me. He walked up, asking if we were believers in Jesus Christ. This man appeared to be eighty years old. He began to tell us how each day he shared with others printed salvation prayer cards about Christ. Before we left, he gave us a box. I will never forget this man and his love of Christ.
Lately, I have felt a tug on my heart to expand my card ministry to a nursing home. While picking out cards, I encountered a nurse from a cancer hospital. She asked me if I would consider taking cards to the hospital. Of course, I said yes! I just felt God growing my small ministry.
While filling out the cards for the hospital, I prayed for a message to share with them. It was then that I remembered the salvation prayers. I was so excited! I had a way of using the most important message in the Bible by putting these in the cards. I would be including this man’s calling in my ministry. I felt honored to pass along these hand-cut papers. As I closed the envelopes, it felt complete.
“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:20 (NKJV).
A pastor once said, “If you saw someone backing up to a cliff wouldn’t you call out to them?” We should call out to others for Jesus. The message of Christ’s gift is so important.
Have you ever crossed paths with people you knew were sent by God? Did you feel the excitement that comes from Christ working through you? A great example is OHSOFREE Ministries! Let’s come together and use our gifts to help others experience the light of Jesus.

Sarah, I love how God has expanded your card ministry! I remember when my mom was in the nursing home and we used to put all the cards she got right where she could see them everyday. She couldn't read them very well but she loved looking at the pictures on the front.
Susan, I feel so honored that God showed me a way to share his love right from where I am. It has been an honor. I pray over every card in The name of Christ Jesus. I hope that it brightens people's days and show that God loves them and even if just one person receives salvation it would be such a blessing. I want Christ to use me to help others!! 💜💜💜
Sarah, I found this so moving! Thank you gif sharing this story of a divine moment! It's like the man handed you a seed and now you are planting it in the lives of others. May there be abundant fruit!
